Dr. Nicholas A. Rubashkin is a specialist in caring for pregnant women. Rubashkin studies global maternal health, disparities in birth outcomes among ethnic groups and ways to improve women's health before and after they give birth. Rubashkin earned his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at UCSF, where he is currently a doctoral candidate in global health. Rubashkin is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is chair of the board of directors for Human Rights in Childbirth, a nonprofit that promotes a nonprofit that promotes reproductive rights and respectful maternal care for women around the world. respectful reproductive care for women.
