Kate Macdonald


Kate Macdonald is a perinatal advocate and paralegal licensing candidate originally from small-town Ontario. Since the birth of her first child, she has been immersed in the world of patient advocacy with a focus on obstetric violence and respectful trauma-informed perinatal healthcare. Kate has seen firsthand the critical need for the JEPS project tools to improve the experience of care for pregnant and birthing folks across Canada. She has collaborated with the Birth Place Lab on The RESPCCT Study since 2018 and looks forward to bringing her blend of lived experience and community work to this new role.
