Alixandra Bacon (she/her) is President of the Canadian Association of Midwives and Past President of the Midwives Association of BC. Alixandra is a Registered Midwife living and working in the ancestral, traditional and unceded territory of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Tsleil-waututh Nations.  Alixandra is an Adjunct Professor at UBC and Co-Lead of Global and Internal Health at UBC Midwifery.
